We are coming up to Christmas, it is meant to be a season full of joy but today the whole world is reeling in shock over the apalling massacre of children in Connecticut on Friday.
The news has hung over me all weekend, a terrible reminder that while we prepare to celebrate, there are people in the world struck by tragedy and suffering.?? Somehow carrying on talking about christmas decorations without acknowledging this horror just didn't feel right.
