Term Lecturer/Teaching Associate (Electrical Engineering)

Major Duties:?
(a) To perform teaching duties in the areas of Electrical Installation, Electrical Services in Building, Electrical Power Systems and Project Management;?
(b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;?
(c) To develop course curriculum, teaching materials and facilities; and?
(d) To participate in campus/departmental projects and functions, including consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions, where necessary.?

Requirements:?
(a) A recognized relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the areas as mentioned above, preferably with post-graduate qualification;?
(b) At least 3 years? relevant teaching/industrial experience;?
(c) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and?
(d) Experience in curriculum and training material development and instructional design is preferred.?

Note:?
(1) Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Term Teaching Associate.?
(2) Proven records of linkage with industry/professional bodies would be an advantage.?
(3) Successful candidates may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.?
